Welcome!
I’m Kate, Owner and Principal Designer at Kate Rossing Design. It is my firm belief that the sole purpose of a home is to serve the needs of those who reside within it. Did you know that one of those needs is beauty? You need beauty, we all need beauty. Seriously, you don’t just want beauty, you really do need beauty. Which is why I believe that in order for a home to fulfill its ultimate purpose, there must be an element of beauty. It doesn’t have to be over the top, often times it is the simplest of things that attract us most. While many people might struggle to articulate just what is beautiful and why, most could certainly say “I know it when I see it.” And that’s top of mind for me when taking on any project, large or small.
My interiors are simple, elegant, and timeless. As a designer, I am going to listen to what you want and need from your home, then I will guide you throughout the design process. Each of my projects is a collaboration between client and designer. I strive for clear communication and total transparency throughout our time together. My goal is to elevate the beauty and function in every space I design, to serve you, your family, and all who enter under your roof.
Born and raised in Door County, Wisconsin I now reside with my husband and our four young children in a small town on Lake Wisconsin, just 30 mins north of my alma mater: The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
